The P's of Pricing - By the Pound, Piece, or Package

Not all beef is cut exactly the same. So when you buy beef directly from Ross Farm (internet or On-site), we will charge by the pound for our Steak and Roast cuts. Our price list gives approximate weights for each cut, which are used by our shopping cart software to tally the price of your. When Ross Farm fulfills your order, we will multiply the actual weight of each cut and multiply that by the price per ounce or pound as listed in the third column of the pricing table.

As a result, your final charge may differ slightly from the total listed on your receipt. Rest assured, that if the difference is substantial, we will contact you before shipping your order.

For other cuts, listed as "Price per Package", we will charge by the price listed as these items are packaged to a specified weight. At our local retailers, our cuts are priced by the piece depending on the location.

Shipping Policies

Your order of fine Betsy Ross Grass-fed Beef will arrive in a cooler box packed with dry ice. We have been disappointed by using the wet, frozen ice blankets in our shippers. The cost of this packaging is $15, which will be automatically added on to the shipping cost of your order. Thanks for your understanding.

We will ship your internet or phone order on a Monday or Tuesday (if you need another day, please let us know) via your choice of UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day air. For residents in Texas, Ground shipping will usually arrive within one day unless you are in a hard-to-reach or remote location.

Betsy or Kim will always give you a call to make sure you are going to be aware the shipment is coming. As always, please let us know if you don't receive your order in perfect condition.

We no longer make deliveries. We hate making that decision, but with the high costs of fuel, we had had to face the facts, be realistic and make hard decisions such as this.
